Plymouth and Devon Racial Equality Council provides a wide range of training to organisations and agencies in Plymouth, Devon and Torquay. This includes:
This provides a good overview of the asylum process, the difference between a refugee and asylum seeker, dispels myths about the reason people claim asylum and up-to-date facts and figures about asylum seekers and refugees, both nationally and locally.
PDREC provides 2 training sessions each month for up to 10 participants. These are currently being delivered online due to the COVID pandemic. The training is currently free to organisation in Plymouth as part of the Refugee Integration Service.
Plymouth and Devon Racial Equality Council is able to provide the Refugee Awareness training to organisations in Devon and Torbay for a fee.

PDREC provides bespoke anti-racist training that is tailored to each organisation’s learning needs. It includes an overview of unconscious bias and interactive workshops.
